Election in the State of Missouri:  Vote No on Amendment 3.  Why?  Amendment 3 Goes too Far!  Bishop James Johnston of the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese has said, "Amendment 3 as it will appear on the ballot is deceptively written.  What voters will see is an intentionally worded few sentences which benignly describe the referendum as an approval of "reproductive rights" as protected by the state.  The actual text of the amendment reveals what is really at stake: it is a "Trojan horse" meant to eliminate other important rights.  Rights which if surrendered, will be difficult to get back. . . . The impact of this would have on preborn children, who will be vulnerable to abortion all the way up to birth, including when they experience pain, is ever more profound."  Here are some other things this seemly innocent amendment will do:
1) Removes parental consent laws.
2) Allows abortion thorough all 9 months
3) Eliminates requirement for abortions to be provided only by medical professionals (women will die).
4) Ushers in taxpayer funded abortions.
5) Prohibits women from bringing malpractice lawsuits when injured by botched abortions.
Vote NO on Amendment 3!
